Vice-President Mohammad Hamid Ansari will have bilateral discussions with Hungary's Prime Minister Victor Orban and other leaders in Budapest today during his ongoing visit to the European country. 

India to ink two agreements with Hungary after delegation level talks today. 

First agreement will be for cooperation in the field of water resources, including innovations in irrigation technology while another agreement will promote cooperation between Indian Council Of World Affairs and its Hungarian counterpart. 

The Vice President will call on Hungarian President Janos Ader and the Speaker of National assembly tomorrow before leaving for Algeria. He reached Budapest yesterday evening in the first leg of his two nation tour to Hungary and Algeria. 

Mr Ansari said, the issue of cross border terrorism affecting India will figure prominently in bilateral meetings during his four day visit to the two countries. 

The Vice President said, although India's engagement with both the countries has been frequent but high level visits have been very few in recent times. He said, this visit will close this gap.

In case of Algeria, Mr Ansari said, India will explore opportunities for cooperation in the field of Oil, Gas and Fertilizers. Minister of State Chemical and Fertilizers Mansukh L Mandaviya and a parliamentary delegation are accompanying the vice president on this two nation tour.
