The cast of ‘Mukkabaaz’ witnessed in Delhi along with director Anurag Kashyap!
‘Mukkabaaz’ an upcoming Indian sports drama film is near to its release, therefore, the entire team of the movie was witnessed in Nation’s Capital. The director of the movie, the man behind gritty drama flicks Anurag Kashyap was present in the promotional event along with Ravi Kishan, actor Vineet Kumar Singh and leading lady of the movie Zoya Hussain. The press conference was held in Hotel The Lalit, Barakhamba Road, New Delhi.
While interacting with media peeps they shared a lot about their upcoming movie, Anurag Kashyap in a very enthusiastic manner stated, “We should not only appreciate sports but the journey of sportsman also. Mukkabaaz evolves from this only. It’s a personal film for every boxer. You will find actual boxers, no choreographers or action. This is a story which we want to tell about the boxers. It’s a real movie, which will showcase the life of every boxer of this nation. Mukkabaaz is not an NGO or Charity Film.”
On the other hand the actor Vineet seemed motivated for the same, he said, “This movie came up with emotions. It is a dream which came true for me. I am really blessed to be a part of this project. Anurag Sir had words with Champion Vijender Sir, and then I moved to Punjab and started my training. It was really a wonderful experience. This is entirely a natural fim.” Whereas, Ravi Kishan as always stated himself and made people laugh by his charm.
Mukkabaaz also stars Jimmy Shergill, Shree Dhar Dubey, Neeraj Goyat, Deepak Tanwar in prominent roles. Well, it revolves around the drama set in Bareilly, Vineet plays a Kshatriya wrestler who falls in love with a deaf-mute Brahmin woman. This angers her uncle (Jimmy Sheirgill) who uses his position as the head of the state boxing federation to sabotage his career.
Featured under the banner of Phantom Films & Colour Yellow Productions, Mukkabaaz is scheduled to release theatrically on 12 January 2018.
Macron urges EU to take coordinated stance
French President Emmanuel Macron called on Tuesday for a more coordinated European approach to trade with China. During an official visit to Beijing, he said that too often in the past, European countries had come to China with some seeking more openness and others wary of granting more access to their markets. “We need a coordinated European approach… that gives China more visibility about our agenda,” Reuters quoted the president as saying. “That’s why France is in favor of defining strategic sectors where we want to protect investments… It’s a question of sovereignty,” Macron added.
Palestine donor nations to meet in Brussels
Donor nations for the Palestinians will meet in Brussels on January 31 as part of efforts to revive peace talks with Israel, Reuters reports, citing meeting chair Norway. “There is an urgent need to bring all parties together to discuss measures to speed up efforts that can underpin a negotiated two-state settlement,” Norway’s Foreign Ministry said Wednesday. Assange gets Ecuadorian card
Ecuadorian identity card granted to Julian Assange may mark his first step to obtaining diplomatic immunity, as Ecuador wants to resolve Assange’s indefinite embassy stay, human rights activist Peter Tatchell told media.
Donald Trump has not only continued his predecessor’s crackdown on Julian Assange, UK Foreign Office rejected the request by the Ecuadorian government to grant the Australian diplomatic status, meaning he would not be immune from prosecution if he leaves the embassy, his fate is unpredictable.
“Granting an identity card is potentially the first step towards granting citizenship of Ecuador. And there is a possibility that he could be then granted a diplomatic status, which would give him diplomatic immunity,” Tatchell, who is a human rights campaigner and the director of the Peter Tatchell Foundation, said. He added that diplomatic immunity would mean that the WikiLeaks co-founder would be “free to leave the embassy and travel to Ecuador and the British government would not be able to lay a finger on him.”
